God, break the heavens so that man may find the open sky.

Faith can move mountains, but love creates mountains, heaven, and earth.
Faith urges the creature to love and thus strive for paradise, but love begs God to let the lover descend to earth.
Faith says: O man, serve your God as is your duty. Love says: O God, become a man and serve the man who owes you more than he possesses.
Faith says: O man, knock on heaven's door so that it may open for you. Love says: O God, break through heaven so that man may find heaven open.
