My dear sister Růženka,
in these Easter days, we read repeatedly about the fear that the disciples of the Lord and the women from the Risen One had because they saw spirits in Him. Spirits induce fear, the Risen One conquers fear, because the true relationship to Him is love. And there is no fear in love, says Saint John. Fear, suffering over the past are often just veiled forms of selfishness, a small faith in God's mercy. God is greater than my heart, much greater than my smallness and weakness. Therefore, I also do not need to redeem His mercy with special acts and deeds. Trust that He wants my life and is my Life!
Recently, there has been a lot on me. I have been very exhausted. But God's strength works in human weakness, says Saint Paul. I wish you this from the bottom of my heart and brotherly love.Fr. Vladimír
