Almighty God,
to all of us who are threatened
by the awareness of injustice,
the awareness of the hopelessness of our position,
the awareness of the futility of our sacrifices
and the awareness of our helplessness against evil,
pour into us a deep supernatural faith
in the Resurrection of your Son,
which transformed a shameful execution
into the most glorious victory
and short-sighted joy into infamous silence.
This Cyril and Methodius faith
multiply in us
God † Father, † Son and † Holy Spirit.

he died on the Saturday before Palm Sunday, immediately after a brutal visit from the church secretary)
