We must remember one thing: we need to actively oppose what we feel on the surface (confusion, darkness, feelings of inferiority) and, with faith, entrust ourselves into God's hands. These acts of faith and trust will cause us to grow both humanly and spiritually. If Jesus is our life, we cannot rely on our feelings; we cannot seek our certainty in them. They do not hold much significance. We know what we know, or rather, He knows – and that is what matters. There is no greater certainty and hope than when we completely and in everything rely on the Lord.
