Restore, my God, my lost time.

What shall I do, my Lord? How late my desires have ignited, and how quickly You, Lord, have sought to win me and call me to be entirely occupied with You! Do You ever abandon, Lord, the wretched or turn away from the poor beggar when he wishes to cling to You? Does Your greatness, Lord, or Your glorious deeds have any limits?
Oh, my God and my mercy, how can You now show this to Your servant! You are powerful, great God. Now it will be shown whether my soul understands when it looks at the time it has lost, and sees that You, Lord, can recover it in a single moment. It seems to me like madness, as it is said that lost time cannot be regained. Blessed be my God!
Oh, Lord! I confess Your great power. If You are so powerful, and You are, what could be impossible for the One who can do all? Restore, my God, the lost time and grant me grace for the present and the future, so that I may appear before You in wedding attire. For if You will it, You can make it happen.
