Prayer to the Holy Spirit...
God, Holy Spirit,
who comes from the Father and the Son,
come and stay in us.
We need You in everything.
Without You, we can do nothing good.Come and stay in us,
that You may enlighten us,
so that we may see
the deceit of the Evil One,
the deception of the world
and our own falsehood.Come and stay in us,
that You may strengthen us in holiness,
encourage us in patience
and empower us to surrender all our desires.Come and stay in us,
that You may comfort us in every affliction.
For only through Your help
can we live holy lives,
avoid sin
and ultimately
enter into eternal life
through death,
where we will praise
You, the Father and the Son.
