I want to at least tell him that I love him.

Saint Teresa says that love must be maintained. Wood is not within reach when we are in darkness, in dryness, but are we not obliged to at least add small blades of straw? (…) When I have no opportunities, I want to at least tell Him that I love Him, that is not hard and it keeps the fire alive; even if it seems to me that this fire of love has gone out, I would like to throw something into it and Jesus would then know how to fan it.
