We are closer than we think.

God does not demand from us any great sacrifices: from time to time think of Him a little, bow down to Him a little: occasionally entrust your worries to Him, and at other times thank Him for the blessings we have received and continue to receive – even amid all our difficulties and struggles. He asks you to draw comfort from Him as often as you can. Keep your heart open to Him, even during meals or when you are in company – He will accept even the slightest remembrance. You do not need to call out to Him loudly: He is closer to us than we think.
