Love is more than all the rules.

We should not judge the poor by how they are dressed or presented outwardly, nor by the level of intelligence they seem to have... If you look at the poor in the light of faith, you will understand that they represent the Son of God, for he chose poverty. (…) The service to the poor takes precedence over everything and must be rendered without delay. Thus, if it is necessary during prayer time to deliver medicine or provide assistance to someone, go there with a peaceful mind and offer that service to God as if you were in prayer. If you leave prayer to help some poor person, know that you have rendered service to God. After all, love is greater than all rules.
