Just as we cannot stop the movement of celestial bodies, which continue in their dizzying flight, we also cannot stop our thoughts. And we think that we wander and misuse the time we spend before God. Yet perhaps the soul is completely connected to Him, only the thoughts wander... For this, we must not become unsettled or cease to pray, but we should realize that most of our distress and suffering arises from our lack of understanding.
