I believe that when the soul finds God, it does not cease to seek Him. God cannot be sought by wandering aimlessly, but through the desires of our hearts. And when the soul happily finds Him, its longing for Him does not extinguish, but rather ignites. Does the fullness of joy mean the exhaustion of desire? It is more like oil poured onto flames. So it is. Joy reaches its fulfillment, but desire does not end, and thus neither does the search for God.
