Through you, Mother, we have come to your Son.
You conceived him.
You carried him in your womb.
You brought him into the world.
You accompanied him in his life,
so that you could bring him to us and give him to us.
That you may also show us,
how a person can bear and understand him,
how one can place their life into the life of your Son,
so that they may receive it from him.
That you may mediate the gift of his childhood spent with you,
the gift of the years of his public ministry and the time of his suffering.
You were always so close,
that everything communicated by his presence,
was received through you, Mother.
Not because of you alone, but for us.
With your "yes," you made yourself available to the Father, the Son, and the Spirit,
so much so that the triune God gave us the Son through you.
You led us to him,
but you were always so deeply in God,
within your mission and in the depths of your own "yes,"
that you always wanted to appear only as a mediator,
and not as one who gives on her own.
Yet precisely this mediation has become a gift,
which arises from your humility
and which gives us your humility.
It is a gift for us,
but also a gift to God.
We would like to ask you today,
that everything that makes up our life,
joys, but also sacrifices,
the paths we walk, even those we did not anticipate,
may all be once again included in your "yes,"
so that through you we may once more
reach the Son
and that through you,
who have so wonderfully fulfilled the Son's will,
we ourselves may anew accept everything
that he has established for us in the Father's will.
But also through you, together with you,
we want to be grateful again
for everything you have done,
was done entirely within his mission.
When our sacrifice costs us more than we thought,
when it is heavier than one can bear,
then we want to remember,
that you did not shy away from any sacrifice
and you accomplished everything in the joy of your "yes."
We want to ask you,
to advocate for us before the Father, before your Son, and before the Spirit,
that we may live from your strength,
so that through you we truly reach your Son
and do in him what
you yourself have done for him since time immemorial.
And when you see your angel, Mother,
then remember,
that his revelation has given you certainty on your path.
Ask him,
to surround us with such care out of love for you,
with which he embraced you,
to intercede for us as he interceded for you,
and in his revelation to give you the strength to say
in faith to everything your "yes."
