It creates a connection between the sinner and His Son.

By the birth of the Son, the Mother does not find herself at the end of her fertility. On the contrary, by this, she gains the ability to give birth to every Christian who is a member of Christ. Her bodily motherhood grants her unlimited spiritual motherhood. Everywhere a person approaches her Son, where someone truly seeks – whether faith, conversion, or vocation – she paves the way in her feminine manner. She does this in that almost imperceptible way that is characteristic of her and which is the most powerful. She creates a connection between the sinner and her Son. She does not place herself between them as a third party that could in any way obscure the view of the Son. On the contrary, she removes everything from the path that could obstruct that view.
