A characteristic feature of love is the constant giving and constant receiving. Christ’s love is generous. Everything He has, everything He is, He gives; everything we have and everything we are, He takes away. It asks for more than we are able to give of ourselves. It has an immense hunger that wants to completely engulf us. It penetrates to the marrow of our bones, and the more we allow Him to do this with love, the more we taste it abundantly.
