Fortunately, even when a person is completely like Martha, they can remain like Mary Magdalene, constantly at their Master and gazing at Him with a wholly loving look. And this is our life on Carmel, where prayer is our main, and also not the only occupation; the prayer of a Carmelite never ceases, but we also have work, external activities.
